OUR TRAVELS

The O’Rileys Visit Ireland

       Kirk and I went with a group from our bank to Ireland in September. We traveled the perimeter of The Green Isle and found out first hand why it is so green. It rained 9 out the 10 days we were there. Here are a couple of slide shows of the trip. Click on the link, and advance through the pictures at your leisure.

San Diego
      Here is a slide show of our trip to San Diego in July to celebrate Kirk’s Aunt Hazel’s 90th Birthday.

HUSBAND KIRK

Kirk is an agronomy salesman for Crop Production Services. He is the Chief of the Lenox Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoys helping Jared at the farm, sports, trout fishing, and a little gardening.
SON JARED

Jared, 21 years, continues to live on Kirk’s family farm along with his girlfriend, Taylor Banks, and her delightful 3-year old daughter, Kylie. It’s fun watching Jared take to family life.

Jared’s and Kirk’s cattle herd is growing and they are looking at buying more farm ground. Jared is proud of his Case IH tractor. He was all John Deere until he figured out how much more expensive they are. He continues to work for Cline Farms north of Prescott where he is the manager of the cattle feedlot.

Taylor works nights at a nursing home is good help on the farm.
SON CLINT

 Clint, 26 years, and his fiancé, Becky Baxter, rent the house next door from us. No, it isn’t quite like the Everybody Loves Raymond TV show.  I am NOTHING like Marie. We do the “May I borrow a cup of sugar” thing a lot.

Clint is working at Feeders Grain and Supply in Corning. Becky is attending nursing school and works part time in a pharmacy.

A Backyard Wedding  July 18th, 2009

   Clint and Becky are getting married on July 18th. We are proud to have the ceremony in our backyard. I’ve been working blue and orange (their colors) flowers into my gardens. Both are active in the planning process.
